Why my blog?I’ve tried not to do it but couldn’t make it … As far as I’m trying to convince my clients that they SHOULD have a blog so as to : 1. Motivate their employees2. Give a sight of their ideas and thoughts outside the scope of their companies3. Increase their “value” on the market….So why didn’t I made one before besides the time it takes? Because I thought for a long time that I didn’t wanted to share my ideas with other people, or speak about the good companies or guy I met so as to keep a competitive edge and to make my clients benefit from it But when you see the wave that is coming you understand it’s a dead end. You’ll need others to make your ideas or project come true It is somehow like if you show or not your connections on linkedin. What is the benefit of linkedin if everyone hides it’s contacts? On the contrary, show that you are strong enough, that you are close enough with your contacts and that you are not worried that someone exploits them. Linkedin is strong because you and me play the game, in return it gives value to us (quite everyday for me)So the same is for the blog. I will use this blog to talk about the companies or people I like , mainly in the online marketing industry in which I’m working for over 12 years…(link to resume)And when I’ll be rich or crazy enough I might talk about the day to day issues I encounter as an online entrepreneur (in the French market…) : management, recruiting, cheats of the providers or partners, ….What are my current concerns? 1. Desktop application : widgets (I hate this name, it downsize the potential of something that is really not a gadget but a new way of communicating with the customer without having him on your website). 2. Interactive window : putting the Internet down to the shops on the street, giving life to storefronts!3. Affiliate : but … in a do it yourself way. Trying to promote to merchants the fact that they should do it internally. 4. Innovation : lower the time to market in the time of the Web 2.0000000000 5. Investment? If anyone knows about a project that is potentially the new GG let me know! I can find some bucks somewhere…
